All Our Tragic Yearlong Workshop Begins

Hello Nice People Interested in All Our Tragic,

I hope you are doing well.

My wife Vanessa and I are all settled in Cambridge, MA, and enjoying it very much. Today officially begin my Fellowship at the Radcliffe Institute for Advance Study.

I have taken about a month hiatus from directly working on All Our Tragic, it is the longest I have been away from the script since it began in February 2012 and I miss it. Luckily, tomorrow is the first workshop day, we are jumping right in doing a 12 hour cold reading.

I am fortunate enough to work with 17 actors from the A.R.T Institute MFA Acting Program. I am sure, during this year, I will be mentioning individuals as I get to know them.

Just to get some upcoming events on your calendar if you are interested, there will be two public presentations of All Our Tragic in Cambridge.

1) A directed reading on December 7th, 2013, 10:30AM to 10:30PM. This will be similar to the other events that happened in Illinois, but only on the East Coast.

2) AND,  on May 17, 2014, 10:00AM to 10:00PM, as the culmination of my Radcliffe Fellowship, for the first time ever, a staged presentation. The actors will still be using scripts, and there will be no props or costumes, but they will be moving around. We will get to see how All Our Tragic might live in time and space.

This year, I will be posting reports often to let you know how the project is progressing. But as always please feel free to reach out for any reason: sean@seangraney.com, I would love to hear from you, and I really appreciate your interest in the project.

Sincerely, Sean
